Hello!
I am currently a Senior Concept Artist with 7 years of experience in the Games and Animation Industries.
I have worked on a AAA game project with People Can Fly Studios for 2 year and shows such as Seis Manos, Blood of Zeus, Skull Islands , Master of the Universe, Castlevania and Tomb Raider with Powerhouse Animation Studios for 5 years.
Collaborated with the Art Director to conceptualize environments and props. The
majority of my work centered around one of the main enemy factions.
Helped redesign existing assets to be repurposed for new areas. I took pre-existing
models and updated them for new concepts. The team would use my models as
placeholders for levels.
Assisted the environment team with level design concepts, drawings, and
paintovers.
I worked together with the Art Director to create multiple new location concepts
and final illustrations.
Took and implemented the necessary feedback from the AD and team.
These final illustrations will be in the new D&D book, Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.
As an environment concept artist on this game team, I collaborated with the
concept, level design, and 3D teams to direct the artistic vision and look of the game.
Visualizing dynamic and believable worlds that the player will be immersed in, and
want to explore.
Generated multiple iterations of ideas and designs for creative directors to choose
from.
Designed props, weapons, architecture, biomes, and overall environments.
Assessed feedback and made adjustments until approved by the art director and
the creative directors.
Worked with game design teams to assist with material creation, level design, and
gameplay intentions.
As the background team supervisor I oversaw the environment and background concept and illustrations for show.
Managing schedules and making sure the team stayed on track to make great quality work for the production. I set the standard and provided art direction for the look developement of the project.
Within this I provided feedback for the team to make sure we stayed cohesive as a whole.
I was in charge of a team of 4 members.
I also had to make sure we were working well with the storyboard and outsource teams to make sure the production was going smoothly.
As an artist on this animation team, I collaborated with storyboard artists, creative
directors, and background artists to create concepts, layouts, and background
illustrations for a Netflix animated series. I was promoted to supervisor after completing
my second series.
Created concept iterations, background layouts, color scripts, 3D models, and final
background illustrations to be used in the shows.
Supervised a team of four background artists, managed schedules, and made
sure the team adhered to deadlines.
Oversaw the hiring process for new background art team members.
